Four Seasons Villas

These villas were designed for a renowned hotel chain, as part of an innovative leisure scheme, in the form of “fractional rentals” – privately-owned houses, operated by the hotel for short-term rentals.

From the start, the ambition was to make each house unique, taking advantage of location and views. Thanks to the variety and combination of the different house types and their components, we created 60 different houses.

This site of extraordinary beauty is located to the north of Bahía de Banderas, in the state of Nayarit. We designed several house types that could be grouped into different “clusters”, with variations in the access patios and private gardens. The villas were sited taking advantage of the gentle but irregular slope towards the sea, in a way that allows all villas uninterrupted sea views.

The villas reinterpret the characteristic vernacular architecture in this area, with the use of wooden pergolas and sloping shingle roofs
