Tarahumara House

This house is located on the banks of one of several streams in Mexico City, in a development created on the hills surrounding the original lake. It was designed using the foundations and walls of a pre-existing construction. Most of its inhabitable spaces offer green views framed by walls and roofs, transformed into diverse and changing scenes to be admired by the users, a family who loves being in touch with nature.

The central patio extends and unites the living and dining space with the garden, which is open but protected from the wind.

The roof was used as an independent terrace for the youngsters in the family, protected from the sun by a light canvas cover, achieving a perfect space for informal social gatherings.
