Malinalco House

The Malinalco House owners later renamed it “La Querencia” (spanish word meaning appreciation or love), to represent their friendly and welcoming habits. It´s located in one of the best spots within a unique development. The architectural program specified by the owners was to create interior and exterior spaces that would allow interaction between the family and the friends who would frequently visit them.

The house can comfortably accommodate 24 people. The owners have always fostered family interaction, and they are joyous and attentive hosts.

Another request for the house was to take advantage of the views towards the exotic rocky formations that have always fascinated the valley’s inhabitants, who sculpted their religious temples and schools on the mountain tops.

The main living spaces in the house are thus oriented towards those mountains. The house is open to the sun, to family and friends.
