ABS House

This is a group of 6 houses on a steep site, with views towards an oak and sacred fir (oyamel) forest. Finding a solution for the entrance driveway and parking spaces was crucial in order to maintain the tranquility desired by the owners, protected from visual and noise pollution.

We started the project working with a topographic model, creating a tunnel to resolve the car access. Four houses are located above the tunnel, and two below. With this layout, all inhabitable spaces have forest views.

One of the owners, a financial executive who could well be an architect, was involved in the project from start to finish, constantly surprising us with brilliant solutions which gave the project his own personal touch. We are forever grateful for his friendly trust and stimulating professional input.
